Police Beat for the week of Jan. 26

   Michael Bianco, 23, of Spring Lakes Heights was charged with drug offenses at 2:35 a.m. Sunday. Sgt. Mark Lee stopped Mr. Bianco on I-195 for driving 75 mph in a 65-mph zone. Police said Mr. Bianco appeared tired but denied having drugs in the car.
   Canine officer Valko uncovered prescription pills and suspected cocaine in the car.
   Mr. Bianco was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a car, unlawful possession of prescription pills, hindering apprehension and speeding.

   Three men were charged with drug and harassment offenses after an altercation at Dunkin’ Donuts on Route 130 led police to one of the suspect’s homes.
   A fight involving the three men broke out at Dunkin’ Donuts at 8:45 p.m. on Jan. 18. All fled on foot. A friend of the men stayed behind and advised police the men could be found at a Sharon Road apartment. Officers arrived there and saw suspected marijuana and open containers of alcohol in the apartment, police said.
   Jonathan Mowbray, 19, of Sharon Road was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, underage possession of alcohol, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief.
   Timothy Stoop Jr., 20, of Yardville was charged with underage possession of alcohol, harassment and criminal mischief.
   John Stone III, 19, of Yardville was charged with underage possession of alcohol, simple assault, harassment and criminal mischief.

   A 15-year-old from Washington was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 18. Patrolman Shawn Emmons responded to Story Place Drive on a citizen’s tip of a youth smoking marijuana. The youth was released to guardians.

   Carolyn Watson-Johnson, 49, of Trenton was charged with driving while intoxicated at 11:43 p.m. on Jan. 17 after pulling alongside a police officer to ask for directions. Police said Ms. Watson-Johnson became lost returning from a gubernatorial inauguration ball. Patrolman Walulak gave Ms. Watson-Johnson directions and let her go but noticed her weaving on the road. He pulled her over and administered balance tests, which she failed, police said.
   Ms. Watson-Johnson also was charged with driving with an open container of alcohol, driving with a suspended license, careless driving and reckless driving.

   Frank Digiorgio, 58, of Roosevelt was charged with driving while intoxicated at 12:33 a.m. on Jan. 13. Mr. Digiorgio was involved in a minor accident on Windsor Road. He appeared incoherent and failed balance tests, police said. He also was charged with leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident, careless driving and reckless driving.

   A Colorado man was charged Jan. 14 with soliciting prostitution after going door to door at the Trail’s End Motel on Route 130 asking female occupants there to have sex with him for $100.
   Police said Charan Jimmy Singh, 25, of Colorado Springs knocked on at least three doors at the motel soliciting sex. No one took Mr. Singh up on his offer but one of the women did become alarmed and called the police.
   Patrolmen Shawn Emmons and James Moore arrived at the motel and found Mr. Singh in front of one of the motel rooms. Officers found $100 in Mr. Singh’s pocket.
