Jill Lajeskie, 58, died Friday, Feb. 3, in the Care One of East Brunswick.
She was born and raised in Upper Nyack, N.Y., and for the last 26 years has been a resident of Monmouth Junction. She was employed for 35 years as a school teacher with the East Brunswick Board of Education.
Her parents, Frederick and Dorothy Bracey, are deceased. She is survived by her daughter Cassandra Lajeskie of Monmouth Junction; and a sister, Pamela Garrett of Sacramento, Calif.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, Feb. 11, from 1 to 5 p.m. at Friendly Sons of Shillelagh, 15 Oak Street, Old Bridge.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society of N.J., Middlesex County Chapter, 846 Main Street, Fords N.J. 08863.
Arrangements are under the direction of M.J. Murphy Funeral Home, Monmouth Junction.
