Wilma Perina

   Wilma L. (Stoll) Perina, 84, of Monroe, died Saturday, Feb. 4, at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
   Born in Rahway, Ms. Perina lived in Irvington for 50 years, moving to Rossmoor seven years ago. Ms. Perina was employed for 25 years as a physical education teacher and guidance counselor at Irvington High School, retiring in 1985. She was a member of the Irvington Women’s Club, the Carpe Diem Club (a women’s service club) of Irvington, and was active with the Cub and Boy Scouts of Irvington.
   Her first husband, Raymond F. Voelker, was killed in action during World War II, and her second husband, Carl J. Perina, died in 1991. She is survived by her two sons, Raymond F. Voelker and his wife, Lynn, of Cheshire, Conn., and Carl J. Perina Jr. of Monroe; a daughter, Wende Perina Stuart, and her husband, Henry, of Dolores, Co.; a sister, Ramona Oram of Monroe; a granddaughter, Emily J. Voelker; and a nephew, Kim B. Kohler, and his wife, Sandra Lee.
   Services were Thursday, Feb. 9, at Lester Memorial Home, 16 W. Church St., Jamesburg. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery, Union, N.J. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association, or to the charity of one’s choice.
