WEST WINDSOR — A second Princeton-area Saladworks restaurant franchise has opened at Nassau Park shopping center.
Featured on the menu are more than a dozen freshly made entrée-sized salads, all prepared to order with an option to add or delete freshly prepared ingredients or create a salad from scratch.
The Nassau Park location is owner Scott Steck’s third Saladworks franchise. He also owns restaurants in Hamilton and Medford.
"We are thrilled with opening our newest location in West Windsor," Mr. Steck said. "We are located in Nassau Park, a thriving business area, and we have Carnegie Center right down the street. Also, Route 1 has become well known for its fantastic retail stores which brings heavy shopping traffic … and they are all hungry."
The company first opened cafés in New Jersey in Chatham and Piscataway. Last year, a Saladworks restaurant opened on Nassau Street in Princeton.
Saladworks was founded in 1986 and has more than 60 locations in New Jersey, the greater Philadelphia area, Maryland, Delaware and Florida, as well as Washington’s Union Station and Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.
