Japanese Pop Culture Week for Teens is planned for May 15-18 at the Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road. All events are open to teens in grades 6-12. Advance registration is requested.
+ May 15 at 7:30 p.m. – Manga (Japanese comics) lovers are invited to bring their favorite manga books to talk about with other manga fans.
+ May 16 at 7 p.m. – “Show and Tell With Linda Hansen.” Participants will try authentic Japanese food, check out traditional Japanese clothing, learn about customs and see Japanese toys and other items.
+ May 17 at 7 p.m. – Anime showing of “Flame of Recca-A Ninja’s Test (Volume 1).”
+ May 18 at 7 p.m. – DDR (Dance Dance Revolution), karaoke and other games.
