Sayreville Pet Adoption Center, 1400 Main St., will hold a Cat-and-Kitten Adoption event from noon to 5 p.m. on June 3 and noon to 3 p.m. on June 4. The weekend will mark June Is Adopt-A-Shelter-Cat Month. The public is invited to meet the more than 100 cats and kittens available for adoption at the shelter. Every adopter will receive a complimentary cat starter kit including a litter box, cat litter, food, bowls and toys. There will be free raffles, door prizes and refreshments.
