Fleda E. Watkinson

   Fleda E. Watkinson, 79, of Ewing Township died Saturday at Doylestown Hospital.
   Born in Frenchtown, she was a lifelong Titusville and Ewing area resident. She was a graduate of Mercer Medical School of Nursing in 1945. She worked at the hospital and then spent 18 years working for a physician as a registered nurse.
   She was a member of the Titusville Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening.
   Daughter of the late J. Clifford and Verena B. Matthews Wilson, she is survived by her husband Edwin Howard Watkinson; two sons, Edwin H. Watkinson Jr. and his friend Cate Crown of Trenton and Brian D. and his wife Ellen P. Watkinson of Kendall Park; a brother and sister-in-law, Dr. George M. and Eleanor Wilson of Doylestown, Pa.; a sister and brother-in-law, Marjorie W. and Dr. Neil D. Opdyke of Gainesville, Fla.; and a grandson, Brian D. Watkinson Jr.
   A memorial service will be held June 11 at 4 p.m. at the Titusville United Methodist Church, Route 29 and Church Road, Titusville, with the Rev. Linda Hale, pastor, officiating.
   Interment was held privately at the Ewing Church Cemetery. There will be no calling hours.
   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 505 N. Parkway Ave., Memphis, Tenn., 33103, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
