Free lectures in East Brunswick begin July 10

The Chelsea at East Brunswick, 606 Cranbury Road, will offer lectures in July.

The series will begin with a lecture on world history and how events were seen through the eyes of the Jewish population of the particular era, 1:30-2:30 p.m. July 10, 17 and 24. Edith Barr, Chelsea recreation director, will give the lecture.

Historian James “Lone Bear” Revey will discuss the Lenape Indians July 11.

There will be a slide show on Thomas Edison July 18. A look back at Negro League baseball, including artifacts from players and teams, is the topic for July 25. The lectures are free.
