The Laurence Harbor Branch of the Old Bridge Public Library, 277 Shoreland Drive, will host “Snakes Alive” for children in grades one through six July 15 at 2 p.m. Gerry Wronski will bring in snakes commonly found around New Jersey, such as the northern pine snake and the eastern king snake. Registration is required; call the library at (732) 566-2227. An Old Bridge Library card must be presented for each child registered.

The Old Bridge Library board of trustees will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. on July 12 at the Old Bridge Public Library, Laurence Harbor Branch, Shoreland Circle. Formal action may be taken on agenda items or other matters that come before the board.
