Adults over 60 sought for study at Rutgers

The Rutgers University psychology department is seeking adults who are at least 60 years of age; are able to complete a two-hour assessment at Rutgers; can read, speak, and write in English; are not color blind; are right-handed; have no known brain disease or terminal illness; and have no current or history of mood or psychiatric problems.

Optimists’ golf outing to aid children with cancer

The Sunrise Optimist Club of Freehold will hold its 22nd annual “Friends of Youth” golf outing Aug. 7 at the Forsgate Country Club, Monroe. Proceeds will benefit Camp Quality New Jersey, a free weeklong camping experience and year-round support program for children with cancer.
