Monmouth Civic Chorus – Experienced singers are invited to audition for the Monmouth Civic Chorus by appointment on Tuesday evenings, September through June, 7:30 – 10 p.m. Auditions and chorus rehearsals are held at Trinity Episcopal Church, 65 W. Count Basie Theatre will hold auditions for its Youth Jazz training program, Sept. 23 at the administrative offices, 99 Monmouth St., Red Bank. Audition times vary by appointment. Monmouth Players will hold auditions for Steve Martin’s “Picasso at the Lapin Agile,” Sept. 13 at 8 p.m. at the Navesink Library Theater at the corner of Sears and Monmouth avenues in the Navesink section of Middletown. Needed are two women between the ages of 20-40 and six men between the ages of 25-65. Three of the male roles are real-life characters: Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso and Elvis Presley. Brick Community Players are holding auditions for its November production of “Rehearsal For Death,” Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the COPE Room, Brick Civic Plaza, 270 Chambersbridge Rd., Brick. Cast includes: six men, five women and one 10-year-old boy. The cast of characters includes three leading men between the ages of 21-35 with two mature men between the ages of 35-60. The Garden State Philharmonic Chorus is holding ongoing rehearsals and auditions beginning Sept. 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Toms River Intermediate North, 150 Intermediate North Way, Toms River, and Sept. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Toms River Intermediate East, 1519 Hooper Ave., Toms River.
