Residents are invited out to meet the candidates running for Township Committee.
The Public Affairs and Social Services Department of the Woman’s Club of Cranbury will sponsor Candidates’ Night at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the Cranbury School cafeteria.
There are four candidates seeking two, three-year seats on the Township Committee. Republicans Robert Smithers and Diane Stasi are facing off against Democratic incumbents Thomas Panconi and Pari Stave. Election Day is Nov. 7.
Each candidate will get about 10 minutes to make a presentation. Then, those who attend will get to ask questions. After the question and answer period is over, each candidate will have three to five minutes to wrap up and give closing remarks, Woman’s Club member Joan Rue said.
"It really is an excellent forum to hear all of the candidates respond to any concern people might have in the community," she said.
