Panter deserves credit for trying to protect animals

Force feeding an animal is cruel and inhumane. The practices in place to produce foie gras is beyond sick. It is immoral. State Assemblyman Michael J. Panter (D-Monmouth and Mercer) should be commended for his willingness to stop any and all cruel and unethical practices in New Jersey.

I understand there are tough issues in this state that need to be worked on, but Assemblyman Panter should be credited for wanting to stop the torture of innocent animals, not criticized.
