Hattie Arch
   Hattie "Jere" Arch, 93, of Harbourton died Dec.15 at Home of the Good Shepherd in Hackettstown.
   Born and raised in Harbourton, she attended the one-room school there through eighth grade and was class valedictorian. She married Frank Arch Jr. and resided most of her life overlooking the Harbourton hills on property next to her extended family.
   Preceded in death by her husband Frank Jr., brothers, John, Louis and Joseph and sisters Mary, Catherine and Helen, she is survived by her sons, Frank III of Hackettstown, Barry of Hendersonville, N.C., and Alan of Orange, Calif.; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and her sisters, Eleanor and Dorothy of Harbourton and Helen of Pennington; and a host of nephews and nieces.
   A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington.
   Burial will follow in the Harbourton Cemetery.
   Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:30-11 a.m. at the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennington Circle.

Carroll M. Bartlett
   Carroll M. Bartlett, 78, of Pennington died Dec. 14 at the University Medical Center at Princeton.
   Born in Beverly, he had resided in Ewing Township for 40 years before moving to Pennington 11 years ago. He was a retired engineer for the New Jersey Bell Telephone Co. and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America.
   Son of the late George S. and Muriel V. Stockton Bartlett, brother of the late George E. Bartlett and two brothers-in-law, John H. Braker and Andrew Fabian, and a son-in-law, Frederick W. Arscott, he is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lillian R. Bartlett; a son and daughter-in-law, Ronald M. and Betty A. Bartlett of Odessa, Fla.; two daughters and a son-in-law, Carol A. Arscott of Ellicott City, Md. and Lynn and James Tyson of Tabor City, N.C.; seven grandchildren, Leigh and Dean Arscott, Zachary Bartlett, Chelsea, Tyler and Kelly Hinnant, Clara Padelford; a great-granddaughter, Hannah Dubil; two sisters-in-law, Joyce Fabian and Marjorie Bartlett; and several nieces and a nephew.
   Funeral arrangements and interment were held privately by the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, Pennnigton Circle.
