The shuttle hurdle team of Christa Bonham, Morgan Marsicano, Jackie Turner and Brittany Bakacs then rebroke the record set at the Lawrenceville Prep meet earlier in the week.

“I was thrilled with the effort by both the girls and boys team at the CVC meet, which featured all the schools in the CVC, in what has become a highly competitive night of track and field,” said head coach Jack West. “The talent at all the schools has risen to a much higher level over the past few years.”

The NJSIAA Relay Championships features the top athletes from throughout the state in an intense day of competition.

“What’s nice to see is how the hard work at practice is bringing better and better results all the time,” West added.

Allentown High will be hosting a CVC Shot Put and High Jump meet on both Jan. 17 and 25 at 6 p.m., and will be competing in the Lavino Relays on Jan. 20.
