The 19th anniversary of the Cream Ridge Winery will be celebrated with “A Taste of Italy” April 21 and 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the indoor event is free.

The celebration will feature samples of gourmet products including pastas, bread spreads and dipping oils, as well as the winery’s award-winning wines, including its new wine release, Walnford White. Tours will be given all day by winemaker Tom Amabile. The event will also feature music by Dazzle.

Louis Sandor, CPA, and Lisa Galinsky, CPA, of WithumSmith+Brown (WS+B), Certified Public Accountants and Consultants, recently donated $900 to the Millstone Eagles Football and Cheerleading Booster Club on behalf of the firm.

Sandor, a Millstone resident and partner with WS+B, is in charge of the firm’s construction services group. Galinsky, a manager and nonprofit specialist for the accounting firm, handles the tax return preparation for the Millstone Pop Warner club. Both work out of WS+B’s Red Bank office.

CareOne at Jackson, a nursing and rehabilitation center, 11 History Lane, Jackson, is hosting a free seminar about Alzheimer’s for the layperson on Sunday, April 22, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dr. Howard Schoenfeld, Freehold, the medical director of CareOne at Jackson and Applewood Estates, Freehold, will explain the aging process, what is normal and what isn’t; what to look for if Alzheimer’s is a concern; the stages of Alzheimer’s, and some do’s and don’ts, among other information. A question and answer period will follow. The seminar is open to the public, especially those who are helping care for a family member who has Alzheimer’s or whom they suspect has the disease. Young Professionals, Forty and Under, a committee of the Lakewood Chamber and a support group for professionals and college graduates in Ocean, Monmouth and Middlesex counties, will hold its monthly meeting, open to all young professionals, at Connolly Station, 711 Main St., Belmar, 6-8:30 p.m. April 25. Stephen Reed, a partner in Cowan, Gunteski & Co., with offices in Red Bank and Toms River, and Sam Soprano of C&A Financial Group, Manasquan, will explore strategies for planning an early retirement in their presentation, “How Soon Do You Want to Retire?”
