Taster’s Canvas and Webcrazy Solutions are planning their grand openings for New Egypt Day, May 19, in Plumsted. Taster’s Canvas, 1 Main St., will revive an abandoned building that has been renovated with a modern art-deco-style look. Owner Joe Savastano will serve a varied menu to include Brooklyn-style bagels and gourmet coffee, and a full deli menu of hot and cold sandwiches. Webcrazy Solutions, 23 Main St., is a computer technology store that will offer an array of computer and Interment services including repair and new sales. Owner Andrew Petrosky is looking forward to helping individuals and businesses navigate an increasingly technology-driven world. Taster’s Canvas and Webcrazy Solutions join X-Treme Sports and L and R Sporting Goods as Main Street’s newest businesses.

Township officials and Main Street board members will officially welcome Taster’s Canvas and Webcrazy Solutions to New Egypt at noon (Webcrazy) and at 12:30 p.m. (Taster’s Canvas) as part of the New Egypt Day festivities.

New York fashion designer Gregory Mack will debut his clothing line May 19 at 7 p.m. at The Mansion, 108 Brick Plaza, Brick. Mack, who resides in Jackson, holds a bachelor’s degree in pattern making and an associate’s degree in fashion design from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology. In 2002, he founded Gregory Mack (Exquisite Custom Fashion). He is currently planning a national fashion tour and is continuing to expand his growing customer base. According to a press release, Mack serves as a fashion consultant and as a fashion designer for the entertainment industry.

The Lakewood Chamber of Com-merce will hold its 14th annual golf outing June 26 at Galloway National Golf Club, Galloway. The chairperson of the event is Stanley Federowitz of PNC Bank. A portion of the proceeds will fund the chamber’s scholarship fund and mentoring program. The cost is $395 per golfer. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Details: (732) 363-0012.

Jazzercise, a dance-fitness program, recently honored local instructor and Howell resident Kellyann Skorupski with the Pacesetter Elite award. Jazzer-cise has five income categories that merit an award when reached by franchisees: Pacesetter Elite, Pacesetter, Superstar, Achiever and Rising Star. As a Pacesetter Elite, Skorupski is one of the top money earners in the Jazzercise franchise operation. Skorupski’s sales contributed to Jazzercise Inc.’s record $76 million in system-wide sales in 2006. She is the only Pacesetter Elite in Monmouth and Ocean counties and has been an instructor in the Wall Township area for more than seven years.
