Artsy animals in Red Bank

"Cows on Garbage" by Don Simon“Cows on Garbage” by Don Simon Animals both real and fanciful are the focus of Cel-ebration Gallery’s new show “Bovines & Beasties & Bears, Oh My!” at the gallery, located in the Victorian Courtyard in Red Bank.

Original and limited-edition art from five area artists plus original Snoopy drawings signed by Bill Melendez will premiere at the show, which runs through July 14.

A percentage of the proceeds from sales will be donated to the Monmouth County SPCA and SNAPS.

Featured artists include Bob Martin, original animal photography; Sue Tumblety, noted Jersey Shore artist and miniaturist; Don Simon, animal/environmental artist; Mark Weber, children’s book illustrator; and Mark Rogalski, children’s book illustrator.

Vintage book illustrations by Richard Scarry, a rare collection of Snoopy art, plus a variety of animation will debut for the first time at this show.
