Ex-undersheriff

backs Trout
To the editor:
As a former Hunterdon County undersheriff and retired law enforcement professional, I am familiar with the qualifications of all four of the sheriff candidates.
Deborah Trout is the only candidate who has the necessary combination of education, experience and dedication to run an effective and efficient sheriff’s office.
Deborah initiated and tirelessly worked on the past successful community service programs at the sheriff’s office and volunteered many hours to the community.
With over 20 years of sheriff’s experience, Deb does not need "on the job" training and knows all aspects of that job from the bottom up!
Deborah is one of the hardest working and most capable people I have ever worked with, and I ask that you support Deborah Trout for sheriff. You won’t be disappointed!

Supports Trout

for sheriff
To the editor:
I retired from the New Jersey State Police in 1988 and immediately went to work for the Hunterdon County Sheriff’s Office.
I served as the chief warrant officer and then as the chief sheriff’s officer. I served under three sheriffs: Peterson, Marino and Doyle.
Throughout my tenure at the sheriff’s office, I worked closely with Deborah Trout. Deb is knowledgeable and competent in every area of responsibility at the sheriff’s office.
I remember when Deb spent may weeks training and instructing then "newly elected" Sheriff Doyle in 1996. I found it interesting he doesn’t think someone who trained him when he became sheriff is competent to be sheriff themselves!
Too bad during his training he apparently wasn’t paying attention!
Deborah is the most deserving and best-qualified candidate I have ever seen seek the office of sheriff in Hunterdon County, and I would urge everyone to vote for Deborah Trout in the June 5 primary!
