Carol Ann Titus

Mrs. Titus, 58, of Manchester Township, died May 3, 2007, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Rahway, she had lived in Englishtown before moving to Ocean County a year ago. She was a certified nursing assistant at Bey Lea Village, an assisted-living facility in Toms River. She enjoyed vacationing in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, David Castro of Greenville, S.C., Kevin and Nancy Castro of Jackson, and Brian and Shaitra Flores of Maple Shade; two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Ken Morgan of Anderson, S.C., and Jennine and Michael Cammarata of Manalapan; a sister and brother-in-law, Maryellen and Peter Ludwig of Anderson, S.C.; eight grandchildren; and many friends. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, Manalapan, followed by interment at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold Township. Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.

Lawrence J. Bindler

Mr. Bindler, 76, of Jackson, died May 6, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he had resided in Freehold for 51 years before moving to Jackson five years ago. He was the proprietor of Tops N Town Cleaners, Freehold, for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Jewish War Veterans, Freehold Township. He also belonged to the Battleground Country Club, Tennent section of Manalapan. Mr. Bindler was predeceased by a son, Michael, in 2005. Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Natalie; two daughters, Robin Cuneo of Freehold Township and Lori Bindler of Manalapan; two brothers, Alan and Melvin Bindler; and two grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, Freehold, followed by burial at Sharon Gardens Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y. Shiva was observed at Mr. Bindler’s home.

Evelyn Ruth Allison

Mrs. Allison, 80, of Jackson, died May 11, 2007, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. She is survived by two sons, William and Stewart Allison; a daughter, Kathleen Firlik; two sisters; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township, was in charge of arrangements.
