Mrs. Cichon, 59, of Howell, died June 22, 2007, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Born in Neptune, she was a lifelong Monmouth County resident. Mrs. Cichon was a discharge planner at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, for the past three years. She was a member of Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church, Farmingdale. Her husband, Walter Alan Cichon, was declared missing in action in 1968. She is survived by three sons, G. Bryan Cichon of Jacksonville, Fla., David Cichon of Lincoln Park, and Malcolm Cichon of Auburndale, Fla.; a daughter, Sara D’Onorio Demeo of Howell; five grandsons; and her companion, Don Spina of Hazlet. A funeral service was held at Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church, followed by interment in Brig. Gen. William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arnytown.
