The Shrewsbury Biscuits defeated the Fair Haven Rockies to win the 11U Emsa Championship. The Biscuits are Mason Gaetano, Tom Wagner, John Johnson, Matt Arnone, Ruben Keller, Mac Feaster, Zach Egner, Dillon Stambaugh, Conner Halpen, Alex Larocca, Hunter Dubel, Alphonse Mulo, Matt Gennero and Will Guinnessy. The coaches are Paul Arnone, George Egner and head coach Joe Gaetano.
The Peninsula Warrior Eagles 12U boys travel soccer team will hold tryouts in July. They are looking for a few strong, experienced players to round out their roster.
The team will be playing in the MOSA league in the fall of 2007 and spring of 2008. They are currently at the National 1 level and have steadily improved since inception. They will also participate in several premier-level tournaments, including the N.J. State Cup during the summer and fall.
