Helmetta will hold its first National Night Out event from 6:30-9 p.m. on Aug. 7 at the Helmetta Municipal Building, Main Street.
The event will feature a barbecue, a moonwalk, face-painting, a DJ, games and prizes. Members of the Helmetta Municipal Alliance, the borough police and fire departments and the first aid squad will be on hand.
