The Milltown Baseball Program, a chartered Little League Baseball Program since 1953, has announced that the program will expand to include girls softball. The softball program will include clinics, instructional video, regular season games as well as tournament play. The initial plan is to have three levels of play – minor (ages 7 to 9), major (ages 10 to 12) and senior (ages 13-15). However, nothing is etched in stone at this point and the program will adjust where it needs to adjust, especially during its first year.
The league officials are very excited to offer this program to all female student athletes and welcome all those who wish to become involved. Registration and further information will be sent through the schools in the coming weeks. As always, the Web site has the most up-to-date information and can be accessed by logging on to http://www.leaguelineup.com/mll.
