CentraState opens Monroe medical office

MONROE – CentraState Healthcare System has opened a medical office at 350 Forsgate Drive and will present a health fair on Sept. 15.

Three central New Jersey physician practices are tenants at the new office: Women’s Physicians & Surgeons, Monmouth Ocean Pulmonary Medicine, and Marlboro Gastroenterology and Radiology. All three are accepting new patients and participate in most insurance and managed health-care plans, according to a press release from CentraState.

The three practices are staffed by a total of more than 15 board-certified specialists in obstetrics and gynecology, breathing and sleep disorders, and stomach and bowel conditions or diseases.

CentraState Healthcare System is a nonprofit community health organization consisting of an acute-care hospital – CentraState Medical Center in Freehold Township – along with three senior living centers, a health education and activities center, a family medicine residency program and a charitable foundation. The hospital is a member of the Robert Wood Johnson Health Network and a clinical research affiliate of the Cancer Institute of New Jersey.

The health fair will be held at the new Monroe location Sept. 15 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Staff from Women’s Physicians & Surgeons and Marlboro Gastroenterology and Radiology will be on site to meet with visitors. CentraState will offer blood pressure and bone density screenings. All guests will be entered in a prize drawing for a DVD player. Call 866-CENTRA7 or visit www.centrastate.com for more information.
