Auditions for the Middlesex County College (MCC) Performing Arts Department production of the rock musical “Bat Boy” will be held at 3 p.m. on Sept. 16 and at 7 p.m. on Sept. 18 and 19 on the main stage in the MCC College Center, Edison.
The cast will be made up of 12 male and female actors who sing and move well. All roles are open to students and to members of the community. Interested individuals should bring sheet music and be prepared to dance.
The play, a comic thriller, romance and tragedy, tells the story of the residents of Hope, W.Va., as they discover a half-boy, half-bat creature in a cave near town.
Performances are scheduled for Nov. 15, 16, 17 and 18.
