Montgomery FD plans fundraiser for injured firefighter.

The Montgomery Township Volunteer Fire Company #1, is hosting a Benefit Rock Concert next Saturday, Sept. 29, from 4 PM to 10 PM, for the Craig Schenck Special Needs Foundation.
Craig Schenck, 22,  is Somerset County Firefighter and EMT who was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident. The foundation was established to help defray expenses related to his   continuing care.
The concert will be held at Station 45 Fire House at 35 Belle Mead/Griggstown Road and will feature local band Dusty Daze and will headline Jersey Shore’s most popular Southern Rock band, Boothill Express.
"Members from various organizations and Craig’s friends are assisting in the event," said Assistant Fire Chief Ryan Giordano, "but we need the community to come out and participate. There will be plenty of great music, food and beverages."
Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Food and beverages are sponsored by Tigers Tale Restaurant.
