Registration forms are available for the 28th annual South River Frost on the Pumpkin 10K Road Race set for Oct. 28 at Dailey’s Pond, Thomas and William streets.
All proceeds will be used to send developmentally disabled South River children to Camp Donna during the summer.
The day will include the 10K Road Race, the 1-Mile Health Walk or Run, and the Lollipop Race for children. Ghost runners (individuals who want to support the cause but do not wish to run in the race) also are invited.
The 10K race is open to males and females of all ages. Registration is $15 if received by Oct. 25, $18 from 7:30-9:15 a.m. on the day of the race. Start time is set for 9:30 a.m. Registration fee for ghost runners is $10 in advance and from 7:30-9:30 a.m. on event day.
Individuals of all ages are welcome to participate in the 1-Mile Health Walk or Run. Registration is $6 if received by Oct. 25, $10 from 7:30-8:45 a.m. on day of the event. Start time is 9 a.m.
The Lollipop Race is open to youngsters up to age 11. Registration fee is $1 in advance and from 7:30-8:15 a.m. on race day. Start time is 8:30 a.m.
All events will take place rain or shine. There will be post-race refreshments for all participants.
