Dr. Abel of Shrewsbury, died Oct. 10, 2007, in Bangor, Maine. He resided in Washington, D.C., prior to relocating to Shrewsbury. He is survived by his wife, Nancy K. Abel; a daughter and son-in-law, Debbie A. and Danny Glazer; a son, Alan Stewart Abel; a sister, Elizabeth Berger; and two grandsons. Interment was at King David Memorial Garden, Falls Church, Va. Arrangements were by Edward Sagel Funeral Direction, Rockville, Md. Memorial donations may be made to the Jewish Social Service Agency, 6123 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852.
