John L. Harrington

Mr. Harrington, 69, of Marlboro, died Nov. 19, 2007, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Born in Covington, Va., he had resided in New York City before moving to Marlboro in 1969. Mr. Harrington had attended Pace University, New York City, and was a graduate of Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. Prior to retiring, he was a deputy manager at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co., New York City. Mr. Harrington was a communicant of St. Gabriel’s Roman Catholic Church, Marlboro. He enjoyed bowling and playing cards. Surviving are his wife, Genevieve Harrington; two sons and a daughterin law, Richard K. Harrington of Seaside Heights, and Michael C. and Stacy Harrington of Jackson; a sister, Patricia Dillon of Toms River; and five grandchildren. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Gabriel’s Church, followed by entombment at St. Gabriel’s Mausoleum, Marlboro.
