Mrs. Pilcher, 91, of Millstone Township, died Nov. 22, 2007, at home. Born in Plainfield, she had resided in Freehold Township before moving to Millstone 51 years ago. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Pilcher was a registered nurse in the Trenton area. She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church, Freehold. Mrs. Pilcher was predeceased by a son, Paul, in 1967, her husband, Robert, in 1976, and a sister, Charlotte Piercy, in 1963. She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Robert and Donna Pilcher of Millstone, John and Barbara Pilcher of North Carolina, and Edward Pilcher of North Carolina; a daughter and sonin law, Mary and Fred Walter of Whiting; two sisters, Elizabeth Real and Gertrude Warner; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held at the Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold Township. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements.
