Mrs. Kratzman, 90, of Freehold Township, died Nov. 6, 2007, at Applewood Estates nursing center, Freehold Township. She was born in Elizabeth and had resided in Plainfield for most of her life before moving to Jamesburg and then to Freehold Township in 2001. Prior to retiring, Mrs. Kratzman was employed as a librarian for the Plainfield Board of Education and at the Piscataway Public Library. She was predeceased by her first husband, Raymond O’Brian, in 1978, and her second husband, Emil Arthur Kratzman, earlier this year. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Dr. Charles Ettelson of St. Louis; a son and daughter-inlaw, Thomas and Carolyn O’Brian of Superior, Colo.; two stepsons and their wives, Val and Carol Kratzman, and Emil A. and Teresa Kratzman; and six grandchildren. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, was in charge of arrangements, which were private.
