Joseph W. McMahan

Former West Windsor resident
    GREER, S.C. — Joseph William McMahan died Wednesday at St. Francis Hospital. He was 79.
   Born in Greenville County, S.C., he was a former West Windsor resident.
   He retired as vice president of operations at Burlington Industries.
   He was a member of the SPEBSQSA barbershop singing society and Locust Hill Baptist Church.
   Mr. McMahan earned a bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in 1950.
   Son of the late Henry Grady and Annie Tate McMahan, husband of the late Mildred Bridges McMahan, his first wife, and brother of the late Gwen Finney, he is survived by his wife, Carolyn Thompson McMahan of Greer, S.C.; son and daughter-in-law Kendrick McMahan and Marcia of Wernersville, Pa.; daughter and son-in-law Patricia Martins and Tony of Easley; stepsons Todd and wife Tammy, Eric and wife Catherine, and Greg Thompson; brother Louis McMahan; sisters Mary Roselle and Vera Miller; and grandchildren Mackenzie and Morgan McMahan.
