Met Chamber, YMCA to honor Dr. King

The Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce and the Metuchen Edison Woodbridge YMCA have joined together to host the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Breakfast at the Pines Manor, 2085 Route 27, Edison, 8:30-10 a.m. Jan. 21.

Admission is $10, and reservations can be made by contacting the Metuchen Area Chamber of Commerce at (732) 548- 2964.

Musical entertainment will feature local choir members who have come together to form the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Choir.

Guest speakers include four middle school children who will read their winning essays that address the question: “What does the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. mean to our community?”

The keynote speaker is Jennifer Lewis-Hall, a network journalist, life coach, author and motivational speaker.
