Anna Rita Trunzo

Mrs. Trunzo, 97, of Red Bank, died Dec. 8, 2007, at home. She was born in Italy. She was a seamstress for several years, and a forelady in the garment industry. She also helped out at her son’s former business, Joyce’s Sub Shop, Lincroft section of Middletown. She is a communicant of St. James Roman Catholic Church, and former communicant of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, both Red Bank. She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Trunzo; and four sisters, Geraldine Francesconi, Margaret Simeone, Angelina Yepello and Rose Ottaviano. She is survived by a son, Ernest E. Trunzo of Red Bank; a daughter, Frances Schmitt of Red Bank; a brother, Joseph Fire of Point Pleasant Beach; eight grandchildren; and 13 greatgrandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St. James Church. Interment was at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Middletown. Arrangements were by John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105- 1942.
