Elks thank community

The Princeton Elks #2129, located on Route 518 in Blawenburg, would like to thank everyone who has supported our efforts to make this a better place to live. We have taken your donations, gifts, the moneys earned by your participation at our events, your eating our wonderful lunches, and great Friday night dinners and your support of special events — dances, barn dances, golf outing, basket ball hoop shoots, flag day, special events for our veterans and the breakfasts for all of our children to meet Santa and the Easter bunny.
All of these things, plus many others and countless unselfish hours spent by those putting on these events, serving your meals, cooking and cleaning up, have gone into our being able to help those in need. We also stand ready to assist those in our neighborhood when needed. We have wheelchairs, crutches, and various other special items to help those in need. We support the Somerset treatment center, which is run by Elks for the children with special needs.
We are here for you, and we thank you for being there for us. We can be reached 466-9813.
