Ludwig “Lud” Christian Bilow IV

Mr. Bilow, 49, of Middletown, died Dec. 3, 2007, at home. Born in Red Bank, he was a lifelong resident of Middletown. He was a veterinary technician for several years. He served honorably with the U.S. Air Force. He was fond of animals and rescuing animals. He is survived by his mother, Florence Shaer and her husband, Norman, of the Locust section of Middletown; his father, Ludwig C. Bilow III and his wife, Marylynn of Long Branch; a brother and sister-in-law, Dr. Bruce and Kate Bilow of Oceanport; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Jim Bailey of Ypsilanti,Mich.; four stepsisters, Susan Gardella and husband Steven, and Nancy Bilow, all of Shrewsbury; LeslieAnn Tertocha and husband Roger of San Diego, Calif.; and Jeanine Cumiskey and husband Thomas of Chesterfield,, Va.; two stepbrothers, Jeff Cady and wife Chrys ofMiddletown, and James Cady and wife Stephanie of Fair Haven; his paternal grandparents, Ludwig C. and Elizabeth Bilow II of Boca Raton, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
