Mrs.Marvel, 75, of East Brunswick, died Dec. 20, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital,NewBrunswick. She had held positions as a staff nurse at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, as the company nurse at Bamberger’s (now Macy’s) and as an office nurse for the late Dr. Leon Silverman of North Brunswick. Surviving are her husband, Dr. John R. Marvel; two sons, Thomas Ray, and his wife, Sheera, and David Edward, and his wife, Tammi; a daughter, Julann, and her husband Byron; and two granddaughters. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. George’s Church, Helmetta. Cremation was private.
