Mr. Green, 84, of Old Bridge, died Dec. 28, 2007, in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. Prior to his retirement in 1978, he was employed at Peter J. Schweitzer Inc., Spotswood, where he worked for more than 35 years. He wrote a history of Old Bridge. He was predeceased by a brother, Ellsworth C. Green. Surviving are a sister-inlaw, Rose Mary Green; a niece, Nancy Thoman; and a nephew, Richard Green. Private services were under the direction of Spotswood Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Old Bridge Historical Society.
