Mrs.Helies, 54, ofHowell, died Jan. 19, 2008, at home. She was born in Collingswood, Camden County, and had resided in Middletown before moving to Howell 21 years ago. She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church, Freehold, where she was a Eucharistic minister and religious education teacher. She was predeceased by a daughter, Jennifer F. Helies, in 1988. Surviving are her husband, Bruce E. Helies; a son, Eric J. Helies; a brother, Francis VincentHurley ofMalvern, Pa.; a sister,Mary Jane Hurley-Brant of Philadelphia; and many nephews and cousins. The funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Rose of Lima Church.
