Mrs. Basen, 81, of Manchester, died Feb. 20 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in New York City, she resided in Wayne prior to moving to Manchester five years ago. She was predeceased by her husband, Seymour, in 2004; and a sister, Bernice Germain.Mrs. Basen is survived by her two sons, Ross and his wife, Carrie, and Scott and his fiancée, Jodi Stein, all of Freehold Township; two brothers, Phil Rubin and Jerome Rubin; and two sisters, Ileane Lockwood and Evelyn Blankenstein. Funeral services were held at the Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold, followed by interment at Riverside Cemetery, Saddle Brook.
