Kindness of strangers appreciated

Mary Julia Kephart of Princeton
Recently I was startled by a call from a borough policeman. He said he had my wallet. At that point, I didn’t know that my wallet was missing. He said it was found on the sidewalk, near where I’d parked my car. A passer-by spotted it and turned it into the police station.
The officer offered to bring it to my door, and did so a few minutes later. The wallet contained my driver’s license, credit cards and $65 in cash. Everything was intact.
I do not know the name of the man who found the wallet or the police officer who brought it to me, but I am deeply grateful for their honesty and extend many thanks to both for affirming my faith in humanity.
