McCain weak on environment

The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) recently released the 2007 National Environmental Scorecard giving Sen. John McCain a score of zero. McCain was the only member of Congress to skip all 15 crucial environmental votes. He has a lifetime LCV score of 24 on a scale of 100, a history of siding with polluters and special interests and a pattern of ducking important votes. He missed a key vote on repealing tax giveaways to Big Oil, a measure that failed by one vote.
McCain also supports endless war in Iraq which has resulted in greatly deficient forces in Afghanistan where the Taliban is again carrying out their own “surge.”
Is this the kind of man we want for our next President? I say no.
