FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP – Come and share the adventures of the Darling family and their children in the musical production of J.M. Barrie’s classic “Peter Pan” presented by the Patriot Players drama club of Freehold Township High School.

When the song “I’m Flying” is performed, flying really happens thanks to the special effects of the Flying by Foy company based in Las Vegas.

“We’re really thrilled to have Flying by Foy orchestrate our flying effects,” said Patt Giblin, the school’s drama director for seven years. “This company started in 1954 and did the flying effects for the Broadway production of ‘Peter Pan’ with Mary Martin and Cyril Richard and more recently for the revivals with Cathy Rigby and Sandy Duncan.”

Giblin said he believes this is the first high school production that Flying by Foy has done. He said it has been a great experience for everyone who is involved in the production.
