• The Manalapan Township Mayor’s Special Needs Council will host its third annual Provider/Ablities Fair,April 3 at 7 p.m. in the Manalapan Englishtown Middle School, Millhurst Road, Manalapan. Parents and caretakers of people with disabilities will have the opportunity to gather information, network and discover resources and therapeutic options available to them. Friends of the Monmouth County Child Advocacy Center, a nonprofit organization, will present a program at 10 a.m. April 4 at Manalapan town hall, Route 522 at Taylors Mills Road, on child abuse and the need for an advocacy center in Monmouth County. A pancake breakfast sponsored by Cub Scout pack 258 of Howell will be held April 6 at St. Veronica’s Church, 4215 Route 9 north, Howell, 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Cost: $5 per person.All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society as part of the Cub Scout pack’s Relay For Life fundraising efforts. • A free rabies vaccination clinic for cats and dogs will be offered April 12, 10-11 a.m. at the firehouse annex on Main Street in Freehold Borough. The clinic is open to residents of any municipality. Pet owners do not need to bring any paperwork and animals do not need to be licensed in order to be vaccinated. Animals must be at least 3 months old. There is no limit to the number of animals a person may bring. Dogs must be on a short leash and cats must be in carriers. Details: (732) 462-7057.
