Mr. Philips, 65, of Manalapan Township, diedApril 1, 2008, at CentraStateMedical Center in Freehold Township. He lived in Old Bridge for 31 years before moving to Manalapan four years ago. Mr. Philips was a bond broker at various Wall Street firms for 27 years. He was predeceased by his father,William. Mr. Philips is survived by his wife of 26 years, Jeannine; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Eileen of Lumberton and William and Lori of Staten Island; three daughters, Patrisa Philips of Venice, Fla., and Dawn and Danielle Philips, both of Manalapan; his mother, Eugenia Philips of Brick; two brothers, Gerald ofAnnapolis, Md., and Paul of Brick; and two grandchildren.Afuneral liturgy was celebrated at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Manalapan, followed by private interment. The Freeman Funeral Home, Manalapan, was in charge of arrangements.
