The nonprofit First Tee of Monmouth and Ocean Counties at Colonial Terrace Golf Club, Ocean Township, broke ground April 10 for a learning center at the golf club.
The First Tee is open to youngsters ages 8-17. Sessions begin May 19. Golf skills are taught by trained golf professionals, and life skills are part of each lesson. Programs are also offered at Suneagles Golf Course, Fort Monmouth, and Eagle Ridge Golf Club, Lakewood.
