Ad-journal sponsors are sought for a booklet to be distributed at a Dinner- Dance to raise funds for Old Bridge resident Zak Nimberger in his fight against cancer. The event will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. on June 13 at the ButtonwoodManor, Route 34, Matawan. All tickets to the event have been purchased.
Cost for a full-page ad is $100; half page, $50; one-third page, $35. Monetary donations also are being accepted.
Nimberger, son of Georgette and Jeff Nimberger, is a 23-year-old Old Bridge resident who recently was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer. His mother, Georgette, has been a school-bus aide in Old Bridge for many years. His sister, Vanessa Macari, is a teacher at Voorhees Elementary School, Old Bridge. The family accrued $12,000 in medical bills in less than two days.
