Thanks extended to CleanPower supporters

The Red Bank Environmental Commission would like to thank the borough residents who signed up for the CleanPower Choice program. Red Bank made a commitment to sign up 2 percent of households, and we’re closing in on this goal. Help us get there.

We know that many residents would like to do something concrete to combat global warming. The CleanPower Choice program is a simple way to choose clean, renewable sources of energy, like solar, wind, and landfill gas. According to information from the state Board of Public Utilities, you can reduce CO2 emissions by more than 10,000 pounds per year, which helps to preserve our climate and shoreline. There is no equipment to be installed in your house, and your bill will still come from JCP&L. In addition, you will receive a free energy efficient compact fluorescent light bulb; just contact the Environmental Commission at [email protected].

Make the choice for a cleaner tomorrow and become part of a climate-change solution. To sign up, please visit njcleanenergy. com.
