Taylor Mills third-graders write original choral piece

Taylor Mills School, Manalapan, recently hosted the world premiere performance of a choral work composed by three third grade students. Bryanna Lorenz, Nicole Carara and Rebecca Rutherford are all members of the Third Grade Chorus, which presented its Spring Concert May 20 and May 21 at the school. The three girls have been working on this composition with their music teacher, Amanda Newell, for several months and were very excited about the premiere. The theme of the concert is the music of Disney. The anti-bullying song was written in the spirit of the new Disney music performed by such artists asMiley Cyrus and the “High School Musical” movies.
